His predecessor, the Dalai Lama Tshangs dbyangs rgya mtsho (1683–1706), and the teacher of the latter, Yongs 'dzin paṇḍita, had already made a draft of this work. Subchapters: a) 'Dir bstan skyong chen mo drag tu bskul ba'i tshul. This text was composed by the rgyal ba dGe 'dun rgya mtsho (1475–1542) in the dGa' ldan pho brang of Drepung monastery. b) bsTan skyong chen mo rdo rje grags mo rgyal gyi [...] tshogs 'khor 'bul tshul phun tshogs 'dod dgu'i char 'bebs bzhugs so. A text which was composed by the seventh Dalai Lama. — Received as a gift from Rin po che Dar mdo sprul sku.
