Special Collection: ISTB Excursions

The excursions, which are offered at regular intervals in the course programme at ISTB, are designed to provide students with direct ethnographic and cultural-historical access to various traditions of the area visited. The participants should get in touch with the rural or urban culture, ritual practice and living traditions in specific localities and devote themselves to different thematic complexes in individual or group projects.
