- Many participants have assembled at the sakela than, the place where the deity for who the sakela or bhume ritual is performed dwells. After the procession with the ritual specialist and the ritual assistants has arrived – among them a woman carrying a ritual basket full of rice, drummers and cymbal players – chicken and cocks are offered to the deity. At the end, the stones are placed back and covered with earth again.
