Ritual specialist Jaruman Rai - a Chamling Rai from the nearby village of Aiselukharka - blesses a ritual participant by sticking leaves of an isilim tree under the rim of his topi (Nepalese man's hat) after having installed a new bhume or sakela ditiy at the hill next to the Tuwachung-Jayajum festival site.
