Title
Wall surrounding the place of worship for Toma worshipping place at Tuwachung-Jayajum hill
Description
Inside the wall there are several stones that are worshiped. According to mythology the two sisters Toma and Khema, and their younger brother Kakcilipu (as they are called among the Dumi Rai) lived on and around Tuwachung-Jayajum. The sisters invented the craft of weaving on the hill of Tuwachung-Jayajum, while Kakcilipu and his wife Nagelum invented agricultural techniques. The wall was built by local villagers, financed by the Khotang district government.
