Title
Place of worship for Khema at Tuwachung-Jayajum hill
Description
According to mythology the two sisters Toma and Khema, and their younger brother Kakcilipu (as they are called among the Dumi Rai) lived on and around Tuwachung-Jayajum. The sisters invented the craft of weaving on the hill of Tuwachung-Jayajum, while Kakcilipu and his wife Nagelum invented agricultural techniques. The place was strongly taken over by Hindu worshippers, placing stones etc. Some locals differentiate between the weaving places of Toma and Khema, others just refer to the full area as 'Toma Kema weaving'.
